To assure our customers will only receive 100% accurate products ready for your fabrication upon arrival to your shop, every tube sheet hole is pinned with a “go-no-go” gauge for the exact tube size specified with the order.  All non-ferrous tube sheets are also pressure washed with high pressure hot water before they are shipped.  We have our own truck and trailer for expedited pick up and delivery of standard dimension material within a 700 mile radius of Decatur, Illinois.

Peters Machine

Our History

1979

Peters Machine started in September of 1979 as a job shop machining company operating within a 3,000 square foot building. Caterpillar was the major customer at the time.

1980s

Through the years the original owner dabbled in boiler and heat exchanger repairs which transformed into a phase of machining and drilling precision holes for tubes in tube sheets and support baffles.

1990s

Since the mid 1990's, Peters Machine, Inc. has progressed and grown with fabricators of pressure vessels focusing as we do today on heat exchanger fabricators and complimentary industries. We now have over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space with state of the art equipment to satisfy and service our customers. Click here to view our recent expansion and acquisitions.
